FSW 67-Point Check

Find out if you qualify for the Federal Skilled Worker program — one of three pathways under Express Entry. You need at least 67 of 100 points across six categories to be eligible.

Best score (12 pts) for ages 18-35. Points decrease yearly after 35.

2EducationMax 25 pts

Foreign credentials need an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) from an IRCC-approved organization.

FSW requires CLB 7+ in all four abilities to qualify at all. CLB 7 = 4 pts per ability, CLB 8 = 5 pts, CLB 9+ = 6 pts.

4Work experienceMax 15 pts

Full-time paid work in a TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation (or equivalent part-time), within the last 10 years, inside or outside Canada.

5Arranged employment in CanadaMax 10 pts

Must be in a TEER 0, 1, 2 or 3 occupation, continuous, paid, and full-time (≥30 hrs/week).

6AdaptabilityMax 10 pts (capped)

Check all that apply. The sum is capped at 10 points regardless of how many factors apply.
Note: if you have arranged employment (factor 5 above), you also get +5 adaptability automatically.
